How do I hold a stethoscope to reduce background noise? - noise from the stethoscope
I know it sounds crazy, but if I move the diaphragm with the patient's arm, to hear her blood pressure, my finger easily into the membrane. My reading of blood pressure has been suspended because of "background noise", I've heard. It is hard to say because the patient still in bed and drugs for most of the time. All health professionals have serious advice for this rookie? Thanks

There are some things you should do should not. You should not with your thumb on the membrane or in the vicinity, you can get the sound of your own heartbeat, like this. EMT My teacher gave us to a parking lot near a busy street, and there we have the practice of taking BP. He helped teach us in the case of BP patient zero is not what happened. A well. Try it out. Good luck!
